The course aims to provide the candidate with all the theoretical and practical knowledge required to fly the Airbus A320 aircraft, including the operation of on-board systems during normal and emergency procedures. The course includes an element of UPRT training on the type.
What does the training provide?
- 72 theoretical training in typology, through classroom and CBT-based training
- 4 tests to monitor progress
- 32 hours of cockpit procedures training (8 sessions on FNPT II MCC or FFS simulator)
- 32 hours of simulator training (8 sessions on FFS simulator)
Application criteria:
- at least 70 Pilot in Command (PIC) flight hours
- a valid CPL licence with MEP(land) and ME/IR ratings valid for at least 3 months from the date of commencement of the course
- a valid certificate of completion of the Part-FCL ATPL(A) theoretical knowledge examination
- a certificate of completion of MCC(A) or APS MCC(A) training
- a certificate of completion of advanced UPRT training
- a valid certificate of proficiency in a language of at least ICAO LEVEL 4,
- a Class I medical certificate

Training will be conducted on Airbus A320 FFS and FNPTII MCC simulators.
Training does not include official proficiency tests or examiner fees and associated hours and Landing Training.
