The aim of night VFR flying is to transfer the knowledge acquired in the daytime environment to the night environment, thus providing the necessary basis for instrument flying.
Night training can be completed in conjunction with PPL(A) training.
What does the training provide?
- 3 hours of theoretical training
- 5 hours of practical training in the aircraft, including the required night proficiency check
Application criteria:
- PPL(A) or higher with a valid class rating (if not in combination with basic training)
- a medical certificate of at least Class II
- a minimum level B2 state recognised complex language examination or a valid ICAO English language proficiency examination at level 4 or above
Training duration: 1 week
The training is carried out in Cessna C172 or Tecnam P2008JC aircraft.
Training does not include fees for authority procedures.
