During the selection process for Hungarocontrol's air traffic controller training, PHAPA contributed to reduce dropouts during the training by 40%, so the most suitable people were admitted to the training, which also resulted in significant financial savings.
The 6-minute sensor diagnosis presents the physiological, mental and physical performance of the measured person. It allows the adjustment of performance according to whether it is balanced over time or it is needed to deliver outstanding performance over a certain time interval, cyclically.
Industrial applicability:
- airline and commercial pilots
- military pilots
- astronauts
- emergency police pilots
Partnerships:
ICAO
An agreement has been concluded between ICAO (Internation Civil Aviation Organization) and PHARMAFLIGHT PLC., within the framework of which we will further develop the efficiency of Fatigue Risk Management. This includes sharing the experience of the tools we have developed and the measurement methodology in order to create a safer, thus more comfortable aviation industry.
The effective results were presented to representatives at International Congress Aviation and Space Medicine (ICAS), International Academy of Aviation and Space Medicine (IAASM), SAIC and NASA in global events.
HungaroControl
Between 2018 and 2020, we successfully applied the PHAPA system in the selection phase of HungaroControl's air traffic controller recruitment process. We measured 110 applicants in order to obtain a clear, comprehensive picture of their physiological status and objective data. As a result, the proportion of students dropping out of the training has decreased significantly. This resulted in a significant cost reduction for the organization, as the physiological condition of the employees allowed long-term, reliable work.
Rapid Response and Special Police Service
As an external aeronautical engineering department of the University of Debrecen, with the cooperation of the Faculty of Engineering, we launched a special training where the scholarship holders of the Rapid Response and Special Police Service received their helicopter pilot training and the aircraft operator diploma in 18 months instead of the usual 36 months. We were able to achieve this by regularly measuring the students with the help of the PHAPA system, so that the training was structured according to their physiological state.
