Pharma-Flight laid the cornerstone of a 5-billion-forint pharmaceutical research centre in Debrecen, Hungary’s second largest city, on Tuesday. The investment is supported with a grant of 3.4 billion forints from the EU, Zsuzsanna Nemeth, the development minister, said at the ceremony. The project is expected to generate high-level intellectual value which should draw further investment into the region, she added. The centre will focus on drugs and dietary supplements for pilots and will employ 50 experts.
