Visitors who attended the now traditional Air Expo in Abu Dhabi in mid-November were able to meet the PHARMAFLIGHT delegation and its staff again this year.

Our delegation is currently in Abu Dhabi at Air Expo 2024 to present our revolutionary solution for improving aviation safety - the PHAPA System.

Gréta Kerekes' name was known throughout the world during the Olympics in athletics, as she was a member of the Hungarian women's Olympic delegation together with Luca Kozák and Anna Tóth. The Hungarian 100m hurdles champion, who won a bronze medal at the European Games in 2023, also performed admirably in Paris, and we can only hope that PHARMAFLIGHT played a small part in this. Why do we think so? The following interview with Gréta will tell us, among other things.

The PHARMAFLIGHT management had the honour to be invited to the OLY House in Paris, the Olympic venue created by the World Olympians Association (WOA), from August 3 to 7. The venue was open to Olympians, current and former athletes and high-ranking representatives of sport-related institutions and federations.

Dr. Botond Szűcs, Head Biologist at PHARMAFLIGHT, has received a huge professional recognition by being elected as an affiliate member of the International Academy of Aviation and Space Medicine (IAASM).

From 3 to 5 June, PHARMAFLIGHT's management hosted Sven Aerts, representative of the European Spas Association (ESPA) and the European Directorate General of Health from Brussels, and Patrick Bensen, founder of Brainmark.

The experts of PHARMAFLIGHT have presented our solutions in Croatia, significant actors of the Croatian market attended. The venue was Hotel Esplanade in Zagreb, where our colleagues introduced the PHAPA System and professional background of more than 40 years behind it, alongside with our partnership with the Croatian company Poliklinika Terme Selce. Gréta Kerekes, Hungarian hurdler and Zeljko Oreski, president of the Croatian Air Traffic Controllers’ Association provided their testimonials, proving the efficiency of our resting measurement protocol during the event.

At the end of February, PHARMAFLIGHT's management received high-ranking guests. The delegation, led by H.E. Mr. Asad Alam Siam, Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in Vienna, was invited by the University of Debrecen and on the afternoon of the day of the visit they met Gyula Győri, founder and scientific director of PHARMAFLIGHT PLC and Dr. Enikő Földi, CEO of the company.

The world's aviation and space medicine experts met in Abu Dhabi at the end of October. Our colleague, Dr. Botond Szűcs, Chief Biologist, represented PHARMAFLIGHT at the 69th International Congress of Aviation and Space Medicine (ICASM 2023).

Gyula Győri, Scientific Director, and Dr. Botond Szűcs, Chief Biologist, spent three days in Washington DC at the end of September at the invitation of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

The management of PHARMAFLIGHT recently welcomed a large delegation from Global Airways. The interest of this prestigious international airline was strongly emphasized by the participation of Sandy Bayne, COO (Chief Operational Officer), Arijandas Sliupas, AM (Acountable Manager), Vilmantas Rudelis, HT (Head of Training), Neil Richardson, Chief Training Captain and John O'Shea, representing Global Airways Ireland. On behalf of PHARMAFLIGHT Zrt., Dr. Enikő Földi, CEO, led the discussions.

Capt. György Tóth is the new Chief Practical Instructor of our Company as of July this year. With a very distinguished and prestigious aviation background, he has already introduced hundreds of prospective pilots to the mysteries of aviation, in addition to more than 28,000 flying hours. Perhaps it is enough to say that he has spent almost 5,000 hours instructing and examining pilots on the Airbus A320 simulator.

It is now three years since PHARMAFLIGHT, founded in 2016, took on the highly complex tasks associated with aviation as an aeromedical examination centre. From August 2020, PHARMAFLIGHT Aeromedical Center Debrecen serves the aeromedical needs of patients from the Eastern Hungarian region and the surrounding countries.

In early July, at the invitation of Yousif Hassan Al Hammadi, Vice President of the Emirates Aerosport Federation and acting general manager of the Abu Dhabi Al Bateen Executive Airport, PHARMAFLIGHT's senior professionals attended two meetings.

In the middle of the summer, some of PHARMAFLIGHT PLC's scientific staff returned home from Salzburg, headed by Gyula Győri, the company's head of research. PHARMAFLIGHT's experts were invited to the prestigious conference as invited speakers, and Dr. Botond Szűcs, chief biologist, was asked to summarize their experiences.
